GOOD HOPE, Ohio — Wayne Township Fire Rescue is inviting the community to come out and enjoy a meal for a meaningful cause during its Annual Fish Fry, set for Saturday, September 12, 2026. The event will run from noon to 5 p.m., or until meals sell out, at 3819 Main Street in Good Hope.

The fish fry is a long‑standing tradition that helps support the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Association and the services its volunteers provide throughout the area. This year, organizers say every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing vital new equipment that will help firefighters respond more efficiently and safely.

The menu will feature a variety of options including fish dinners, fish sandwiches, kids’ meals, and multiple side items. Drive‑through service will be available for convenience, and credit card payments will be accepted with a small processing fee.

Event organizers say community support is more important than ever. Those who cannot attend but still want to contribute can reach out to any department member or send a message to the department’s page.

Residents are encouraged to come hungry, enjoy some of the best fish around, and show support for the volunteers who serve Wayne Township year‑round.
