The Visitors Bureau of Highland County has announced the launch of a new online community calendar designed to make it easier for residents and visitors to find local events. The upgrade comes through a partnership with Yodel Event Calendar, an AI‑driven platform that automatically gathers and updates event information from public sources.
The enhanced calendar, which goes live June 20, will offer a more comprehensive and user‑friendly experience by eliminating the need for manual event submissions and updates. According to the Visitors Bureau, Yodel’s automated system ensures the calendar remains accurate, current, and reflective of everything happening across Highland County.
“We are excited to partner with Yodel because their innovative AI‑based event calendar will ensure that our community has easy access to the latest events, all in one place,” said Jamie Wheeler, Executive Director of the Visitors Bureau of Highland County. “With this new system, we’re confident our residents and visitors will enjoy a seamless experience discovering local events that enrich their lives.”
The Visitors Bureau says the partnership marks a major step toward becoming the region’s central hub for event information, strengthening community engagement and supporting local tourism.
