HILLSBORO, Ohio — The Driving Authority, a new driver education provider located west of Hillsboro, celebrated its official grand opening on July 24 with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Highland County Chamber of Commerce. Family, friends, and community members joined owners James and April Flowers at their facility at 5671 US 50 to mark the occasion.

The business was founded with a mission to offer high‑quality, student‑centered driver education to the Highland County community. According to the release, The Driving Authority emphasizes personalized instruction, flexible scheduling, and strong customer service designed to help students pass their driving test while building the skills and confidence needed to be safe, responsible drivers. The company provides behind‑the‑wheel lessons as well as online coursework.
