
LEBANON, Ohio — A Lebanon woman has died following a two‑vehicle crash that occurred on July 29 at the intersection of East Main Street and South High Street.
The crash happened around 1:40 p.m. when a 2020 Nissan Rogue traveling south on South High Street reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign and struck the trailer of a westbound 2024 Peterbilt 579 tractor‑trailer. The Nissan was driven by Jennifer Watson, 68, of Lebanon. The tractor‑trailer was operated by Victor Espinoza Palacios, 36, of Gresham, South Carolina.
Watson suffered serious, life‑threatening injuries and was taken by ground ambulance to Atrium Medical Center. She was later flown to Miami Valley Hospital for additional treatment. She died from her injuries on July 30.
Espinoza Palacios was not injured.
Local police, fire crews, EMS personnel, and a towing service assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
