LEBANON, Ohio — A five vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Warren County left one woman dead and several others seriously injured early Tuesday morning. The Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred at approximately 6:05 a.m. just north of mile marker 38 in Franklin.

According to the Patrol, five southbound vehicles were involved. A 2026 Chevrolet Trax driven by Kelvin Munyurangabo of Dayton and a 2019 GMC Yukon driven by Andre Foster of Garden City, Michigan stopped in the left center lane. Munyurangabo exited his vehicle. A 2017 Honda Civic driven by Karen White of Miamisburg slowed and stopped behind the Trax.

A 2018 Ford Edge driven by Samantha Dahl of Centerville struck the Civic and continued off the right side of the roadway. The Civic then struck the parked Trax, causing the Trax to strike Munyurangabo and continue forward into the Yukon. The Civic rotated in the roadway and was struck by a 2010 Ford E 150 driven by Paul Young of Dayton before hitting the concrete median barrier. The E 150 continued and struck both the Trax and the Yukon.

White died at the scene from her injuries. Munyurangabo was transported to Atrium Medical Center with life threatening injuries and later transferred to Miami Valley Hospital. Foster and his passenger, Tiffany Wilson, were taken to Kettering Health Middletown with serious injuries. Dahl was transported to Atrium Medical Center. Young was not injured.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lebanon Post.
