Fairfield is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of district facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating repairs, managing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all buildings remain safe and functional for students and staff. The coordinator will work closely with administration to plan facility improvements and supervise maintenance personnel.

Candidates should have experience in building maintenance or facilities management, along with strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general building systems is preferred. Applicants must be able to perform physical labor and meet all required background checks.

The district is also hiring a Maintenance Assistant to support building upkeep and daily maintenance needs. This role assists with repairs, grounds work, cleaning, and general facility tasks. The assistant works under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator and helps ensure that Fairfield’s campus remains clean, safe, and ready for students each day.

Applicants should have general maintenance or custodial experience, the ability to perform physical labor, and a strong work ethic. All candidates must pass required background checks.

Fairfield Local Schools is committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for students. To support that mission, the district is hiring a School Safety Officer who will monitor school grounds, assist with emergency procedures, and help enforce safety protocols. The officer will work closely with administrators and may coordinate with local law enforcement when needed.

Candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement, security, or school safety are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills, the ability to remain calm in emergencies, and a commitment to building positive relationships with students are essential.
