Curve Love, a growing wellness business in Greenfield, was created by owner Lenora Shoemaker with a clear mission. She wanted to bring high end, non invasive body technology to the community after learning that a similar business in Hillsboro had closed when its owner relocated. She saw a gap in local wellness options and stepped in to fill it.
Shoemaker describes her work in simple terms. She offers confidence. Her services help clients feel more comfortable in their skin and help their clothes fit better. She believes small communities often lack access to specialized wellness services, and she wants residents to know there are local alternatives to surgical procedures.
The community response has been overwhelmingly positive. Shoemaker says her landlord was her very first client, and recommendations and reviews have played a major role in helping Curve Love grow. She says the most rewarding moment so far has been seeing the smile on a client’s face when they began noticing results.
Because her services are niche and not widely known in the area, Shoemaker has made education a priority. She wants people to understand what each service does and how it works so they can choose the right option for their goals. Word of mouth has been essential, and she credits Main Street Downtown Greenfield and the Highland County Chamber of Commerce as valuable partners in helping her reach the community.
Shoemaker also hopes her business helps keep local dollars in the community. She regularly refers clients to other small businesses in Greenfield, whether they are looking for a gift, a meal, or a place to explore. She believes in supporting the local economy and strengthening the connections that make small towns unique.
Her approach is personal and relationship driven. She wants clients to feel welcome, understood, and supported. She takes time to learn about their goals, whether they are preparing for a special occasion or simply looking to feel more confident at home.
Looking ahead, Shoemaker hopes to expand her services and possibly bring on a partner. She says community feedback will guide the next steps for Curve Love. Her advice for other entrepreneurs is to embrace the small town atmosphere, use available programs, and talk to other business owners. She says every business owner she has met in Greenfield has been warm, welcoming, and willing to share advice.
Curve Love continues to grow as Shoemaker builds a space focused on comfort, confidence, and community connection.
