Abbott Image Solutions, LLC, a national sign company known for its in-house design and manufacturing, has announced its relocation to the former Midmark building in Leesburg. The move brings over $1.3 million in investment and will create 30 new jobs, marking a major milestone in Highland County’s economic development efforts.
Founded in 2015 and previously headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, Abbott Image Solutions produces a wide range of signage—including wayfinding systems, neon signs, monuments, and electronic message boards. The company’s decision to relocate its headquarters to Leesburg was made in collaboration with JobsOhio, Ohio Southeast Economic Development (OhioSE), and the Highland County Economic Development Office.
“Abbott Image Solutions is proud to deepen our investment in Ohio and in the communities we serve,” said Greg Abbott, CEO of Abbott Image Solutions. “Our company is built on creativity, craftsmanship, and long-term relationships—and with the support of JobsOhio and OhioSE, we’re expanding our team, investing in new technology, and creating opportunities right here in Ohio” A.
The new facility will allow Abbott to double its footprint and workforce while reactivating a site that had recently been shuttered. For Leesburg, the project represents more than just job creation—it’s a restoration of industrial energy and civic pride.
“This project not only represents significant investment but also a commitment to revitalization, job creation, and long-term economic growth,” said Julie Bolender, Director of Highland County Economic Development. “By transforming the vacant site into a center of innovation and productivity, this business is preserving our industrial heritage while shaping a stronger future” A.
The expansion is supported by a JobsOhio Grant and the JobsOhio Talent Acquisition Program, which will help Abbott Image Solutions build sustainable recruitment strategies and support workforce development.
Abbott’s clients include municipalities, developers, and financial institutions across the country. With its move to Leesburg, the company reinforces its national reach while staying rooted in local values—led by a CEO who grew up in the very town now welcoming his business home.
